Just ONCE
Just ONE time…I would like to go out for dinner and drinks with my girlfriends, and I would like Myles to be sitting at home, doing NOTHING. I would like to come home from girls night to a clean, quiet home, and a sober husband.

I feel the need to explain
Last night I posted about Myles slicing his finger while trying to clean a tart burner.
It wasn’t until today’s gchat that I realized a lot of you don’t know what a tart burner is. Miriam thought I was referring to a tiny glass toaster. (WHAT GIRL!) Others thought it was some type of illegal device one might find in a dorm room.
But that is the tart burner that he broke....

One of the best things about my job
There are giant windows at our store front. People (especially from the salon next door) stand up against them and YELL on their cell phones about alllllll the drama in their life.
They have no idea that I turn off the radio, and I can hear every word.

Oops!
Myles called me right before I left work and said “you might have to take me to the ER for a couple of stitches.”
He was cleaning out a tart burner, (too forcefully I imagine) when it broke and he sliced his finger on the glass.
I came home to assess the situation. Some antibiotic ointment, some steri-strips, and some band aids are going to have to work.

Took Remy For a 1 mile Trail Walk
As we were coming back through the woods to our house, I saw a tick on his fluffy golden face. I removed it easily. (He has also had his monthly tick medicine.)
But now I feel like ticks are crawling on MY head!!!
And my throat is basically swollen shut due to allergies, and Myles cutting the grass.
This is why we can’t have nice things!
