I finally made my Halloween costume last night. After being sick all week, I was starting to regret coming up with an idea in my head with no back up.
Last night Myles surprised me and came to see me after work!! I made us dinner, we went to JoAnn fabric, and I let the creative juices flow.
I don’t mean to pat myself on the back… but its pretty fantastic.

I got back from the infirmary where they informed me that I have bronchitis. (I don’t have time to be sick)
Then I got a text from the boyfriend that said “I was looking at old pics of us. We’re the best!”

The End Is Near
Today, I am getting my senior portraits taken.
I wasn’t going to get them done, and then I remembered seeing my grandmothers portraits from when she graduated college. She looks so beautiful, and the fact that she was able to get her masters in nursing when her parents would not allow her to attend college is inspiring.

I just spent the entire afternoon napping my sickness away.
I fell asleep before Katherine Heigl got pregnant in Knocked Up, when I woke up the movie was over. Solid.
Tonight, I plan on getting $1 tacos, at my new favorite bar with a group of friends. Then if I am feeling up to it I will venture to the city for $1 drinks for college night at the hippest-hole in the wall- place on the planet....

I really need to be productive today. I have not gone to the grocery store in weeks, and I am in desperate need of some fresh food. I also have to buy an Egyptian queen costume for my social studies class tomorrow.

Today was a rough day for me. I have two big projects due tomorrow. One of which is a children’s book that I had to make. It is 20 pages of color, and my printer decided to die right before I needed to go to the copy shop to get it laminated. In the end I had to buy a new printer, and the project cost me $100 that I do not have.

Pumpkin beer!
