I don’t think that I mentioned it, but I have been DYING to try a pumpkin ale. I have been searching high and low for the perfect beer, and I think I have found it!

On Sunday, I bought 2 different kinds. 

The first was this PUNK’N ale. It tasted just like a pumpkin. It was perfectly spicy, and I could taste the nutmeg, and cinnamon. (gross, but when I burped it tasted like pumpkin pie) It also has the coolest packaging! 

The second was Harvest Moon pumpkin ale, which is a seasonal Blue Moon. After the 1st beer, this was sadly disappointing. It tasted nothing like pumpkin. To give it credit it was a decent fall beer, with good flavor but NOT pumpkiney. 

I will most definitely be purchasing some more of the PUNK’N ale in the very near future!

My obsession with pumpkin will not die.
