I am 4 [four!] runs behind on my 5K training program. 

I planned on running outside today because it is so gorgeous out…but then I woke up with a Charlie Horse in my calf.

Which means I shouldn’t run today, right? 

  1. ejdoescostarica said: run! it’ll make the soreness from the charlie horse go away faster! drink lots of water and eat a banana so you don’t get another one!

  4. whatwehopedfor said: If your calf is feeling better now, I’d say go for a short run! You’ll feel better about yourself, and the hardest part is getting into the habit!
  5. cupofchi said: You should do some stretching and then run very, very slowly. Or walk. Telling myself I can just walk always helps me get out the door, but once I’m dressed and out there, it’s kind of like…okay, I can run for a bit. And then it’s done!
