Tricky Ass Cancer

Pop went for a Dr’s appointment today to discuss his latest Cat Scan results.

He was scheduled to have a two month break from the chemo, that has up until this point, been shrinking his tumors.

Unfortunately the Doctor reported that both of his tumors showed some growth. He said that this is common at around the 6 month mark because the cancer learns to “trick” the drugs. 

He will start a new drug in 2 weeks, and it is expected to be well tolerated. He has slowly been gaining some weight, and feeling pretty good. Hopefully he can keep gaining, have a positive mental outlook, and the tumors will shrink again.

Thank you to everyone for the prayers, and well wishes. He is a fighter!
